Janis Davis Glass, 93, of Midland, Texas passed away on March 3rd, 2026. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, and from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Janis was born on October 4th, 1932, in Midland, Texas to Thomas Price “T.P.” and Ila Elizabeth Davis. She was raised and reared by her parents in Midland, Texas. She graduated from Midland High School in 1947. She spent most of her working years in the insurance business. Janis married Howard Glass in June of 1953. They have two children, Gary Glass and Jeanne Griffith, along with 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was one of the founders of Casa de Amigos and attended St. Mark’s Methodist church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco, Texas.
