Janice Marie Klapproth passed away on Friday, August 22nd, at her home in Midland after a short illness. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with The Reverend Father Mark Telschow, officiating. She was born in Ranger, Texas to Bill and Dessie Roulston on July 19th, 1943. After traveling the oilfields of Texas with her parents, and her sister, Billie Lewis, she settled in Odessa to raise two sons, Mack and Wayne Brown. She later married Dave Klapproth of Midland and raised a son, Dave Klapproth, Jr. Janice was involved in real estate for several years, and enjoyed gardening around her home. She was also an avid bridge player with the close group of her friends in her bridge club. She is survived by her husband, Dave Klapproth; three sons, Mack Brown, Wayne Brown, and Dave Klapproth, Jr.; niece, Lisa Lewis of Haskell, Texas; as well as grandchildren Cheyenne and Cassidy Brown, and Jessica and Stanley Brown, and Zoe Klapproth. The family extends thanks to Hospice of Midland and Nurses Unlimited for the care they provided Janice in her final days.
