After a heroic battle with several serious illnesses, Janice Kay Bane of Midland, Texas went Home to her Heavenly Father’s place on March 1, 2017. Janice was born to the Partridge family on August 8, 1939 in Pittsburg, Kansas. Janice worked in the nursing field for over 40 years in hospitals, nursing homes, and doctor offices in Seminole, Texas and Midland. She was a remarkable, likeable lady with a beautiful smile, often making friends with other people in just a few minutes of conversation.Janice was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Donald Miller; her son, Donald Miller; her grandson, Brett Riggle; her mother, Mildred; her brothers, Bud Partridge, Bill Partridge, and Jim Partridge; and her sister, Lois Chanley.Janice leaves behind her close friend and husband of 29 years, Kelly Bane; her daughter, Kelly Gibson; her sister, Charlotte Driver; her granddaughter, Kristin Thompson; her grandson, Allen; and great-grandsons, Austin Bell, Sammy Thompson, and Cody Thompson.Janice’s viewing will be from 1:00pm-9:00pm, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, March 6, 2017 at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Randy Brice, Chanley Delk, Doyle Gibson, Bill Partridge, Tobe Partridge, and Jonnathan Thompson.,
