Janelle Clark, 78, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at local assisted living facility. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Private family interment will follow.The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.She was born September 14, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas to T. Willard and Melba Cauble Neel and married Wayman Clark February 18, 1956 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death April 17, 1998.Janelle was a lifelong resident of Howard County. She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1955 and from Angelo State University in 1972. She taught in Big Spring school for 28 years.Janelle was very proud of her Howard County heritage, being part of the pioneer I. B. \Doc\ and Mary Elizabeth Cauble family. She still lived on property on the original homestead. She enjoyed gardening, painting and dancing, and loved attending her grandchildren's functions.Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl Gale and husband, Gary of Colorado City; two sons, Craig Clark and wife, Starla, and Casey Clark and wife, Fayelyn Clark all of Big Spring; five grandchildren, Beth Langley and husband Brandon, John White, Britt Clark and wife Tessa, Bree Clark and Shelby Burke and husband, Taylor; and seven great-grandchildren, Lane, Will, Braxden, Bralynn, Kaylee, Cooper and Colton.The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church, 705 W.
