Jane Dutcher, 97, of Boerne, passed away in Boerne, Texas on Tuesday, July 30, 2002. She was born on June 10, 1905 in the Nezperce Indian Reservation in Idaho, the daughter of J. B. Shockley, Sr. and Ethel May Cox Shockley. An eleven year resident of Boerne, she had moved from Louisville, Kentucky, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She had grown up in Big Spring and attended Abilene Christian College. Mrs. Dutcher is survived by daughters, Beverly Elliott of Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeanette Riley of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; grandchildren, Dennis Elliott, Leesa Lamb, Richard Riley and Ralph Riley; great-grandchildren, Amanda Madla, Lauren Riley and Kyle Riley; and a brother, W. T. Shockley. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2002, at the Vaughan's Funeral Home in Boerne, Texas with Randy Couchman, officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2002 at Trinity Memorial Park with Larry Marshall, minister of Knott Church of Christ, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vaughan's Funeral Home of Boerne.
