Dear Elsie, So saddened to hear about your beautiful daughter, Jan. Our hearts are with you and your family. Wish I could talk to you in person. When we got married , you and Daniel went one way and Norbert and I another. Never did we see each other except at weddings or special events. Miss visiting with you so much. Your were always one of my dearest friends and then my relative. May God bless you and keep you. Hope to see you soon somewhere along the way. I guess we could talk forever once we get together. Convey our sympathy to your son-in-law and his family. We know that God will be there for them and your whole family. We love you all so very much. Love Norbert and Billie Jean.

Joe, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Kathryn and I stay in touch by email; she emailed me about Jan. I stop by to see Kathryn and Rodger in Stanton on my way through Texas to see my mother and Robbie and his family in Abilene. I seem to have more time these days to catch up with old friends as we finally have our daughter away at college and our son ready to graduate from hs in May. My prayers are with you during this sad time. Dana

Joe, We just found out about your loss, and our hearts go out to you and your family. Remember that at these times a whole lot of people are lifting you and your family up in prayer and know that God is there for you, and will be in the days ahead. Wish I could be there for you, It don't look like we will be able to, but you will be in our thoughts. I do know what you are going through, and know that you can only take one day at a time. We will continue to pray for you, your kids and family. In Sympathy, The Dehnel's, Richard, Alice & Ka Lee

My dear sweet Joe, The love of your life has gone to live with Jesus and your Mother. Let God wrap his arms around you and hold you. Jan was my star 4-H'er, someone who followed in my foot steps and did better than I ever could. I was always so proud of her and for her and all the wonderful things she accomplished. But most of all I always thought she was God's gift to you and you were God's gift to her. Now while your heart is broken, lean on Christ, I do not know why bad things happen to such good people, but I do know Christ is there for you. And there is no better place to be than in the center of His presence. Come to see us. We have a big old empty house now that the boys are grown and we have a guest house. It would be good just to have you in our presence. We love you and our prayers are with you and your family. Love, Rodger and Kathryn
