Jan Elliott, 65, of Big Spring, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 in a Midland hospital after a long battle with health issues. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PMDecember 19, 2013 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. At Jan’s request, there will be a private family service at a later date. Jan was born in Sweetwater, Texas to Buddy and Jean Lee December 19, 1947. In 1952 she was adopted by C.E. Milam.\tShe graduated in June 1966 from Big Spring High School and married Kenneth Elliott that same year. Together they owned and operated Big Spring Auto Electric from 1976 until 2011.\tShe is survived by two children, daughter, Melissa (Elliott) Carrillo and husband, Jr.; son, Mike Elliott and wife, Kristi; three granddaughters and one great granddaughter, which were the light of her life, Brandie (Phillips) Whitt and husband, Jacob, Brianna Elliott, Haylea Elliott and great granddaughter, Sophia Whitt. She is also survived by one brother.\tShe was preceded in death by her mother and step father, Jean and Bernard Wanderer, her father, C.E.
