James Thomas "J.T." Langley, 89, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 13, 2007, at the Peace Chapel in Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Walter McCall, Chaplain with Odyssey Health Care, officiating. J. T. was born June 23, 1917 in Clyde, Texas, but moved to Big Spring soon after. He married Marguerite Marie Smith on July 18, 1945 in Lockhart, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2003. They celebrated almost 60 years of marriage before her death in 2003. He entered the United States Army Air Corps in 1942 and served until December 1945. After the war, he and Rite returned to Big Spring to pursue a life of farming and ranching which he continued his entire life. He is survived by two daughters, Rita Kay Duncan and husband, Jim and Jamie Anderson Owen and husband, Mark and five grandchildren, Leigh, Kristen and Ashley Duncan and Jason and James Anderson. In addition to his parents, Lavertie and William Langley, and wife, Rite, J. T. was preceded in death by five brothers, Leonard, Louie, Cleatus, Vernon, and Billy and two sisters, Clara Mae Smith and Geneva Reagan.
