Dear Kay, So sorry to read that you lost your beloved mate. It brought back memories of the wonderful food you used to prepare for so many parties and occasions we used to have that were so much fun. While I never really knew your husband personally, I do remember him helping you carrying in and out all your wonderful food. I pray God will cradle you and your family in His arms and carry you through this time of morning. Sincerely, Clovie Shannon

Uncle Jim was such an amazing man, a standard that all real men should be judged by. I loved every family gathering at his and Aunt Kay's home exspecially our Easters together. Uncle Jim was always busy with hiding eggs or helping Aunt Kay cook our meal and those lovely bunny cakes. As a little girl who lost her Father way too soon I was Lucky to have Uncle Jim who could wipe away all your tears and comfort you when you were sad. He was a great man and now he is celebrating his homecoming in heaven with a great family. Uncle Jim was a great example of a christian and a very humble person the world is such a better place having had him in it. I'm sure Daddy is thanking him right now for filling in for him after his death. Uncle Jim was our family icon. I love you and miss you already. I wish I could be there to say good bye, I'll love you forever, your little Kay Kay

Uncle Jim was the uncle that I always looked up to and even though we did not get to see each other very often I value the time I did get to see and visit him.
