James Kelly Meek, 67, of Midland, Texas, passed away on August 4, 2026. Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

James was born on October 31, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas to Dan and Barbara Meek.

James is survived by his brother Danny Meek and Irvin Welch and his three children Conrad, Julie and Toby Meek.

James is preceded in death by his father and mother Dan and Barbara.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards all family and friends both present and privately mourning, support provided by the county, and diligent and caring service provided by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital, or the Wounded Warriors Project.
