James Edward “Jimmy” Morrison, 72, of Stanton, Texas and recently Searcy, Arkansas, passed away on May 16th, 2026.
Services will be held at 3 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, Texas. Jimmy was born on August 24, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas to Pete and Pat Morrison.
Jimmy is survived by his daughter Miranda Lauderdale and husband Richard of Midland, Texas, granddaughters, Brooke Chadwick & Bella Chadwick of Midland, Texas.
Jimmy is also survived by his two sisters, Vicki Hays and husband Will of Midland, Texas and Kimberlie Schmelter and husband Bob of Stanton, Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by mother, Pat Morrison and father, Pete Morrison.
The family would like to express their gratitude toward Shenandoah Residential Care Facility in Searcy, Arkansas. A special note of recognition goes to Johna Baker for all her love and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Shenandoah Residential Care Facility, P.O. Box 35, West Point, AR 72178.
