James B. Hodnett, 66, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born January 18, 1946, in Big Spring, Texas. James was a lifetime resident of Big Spring, except for the 10 years he lived in California. He had worked in the Mental Health field until taking a medical retirement. James was a devoted father and grandfather and an avid sports fan.Survivors include one step daughter, Aimee Ham Edens; two step sons, Matthew Ham and Joshua Sigmon; and one sister, JoNell Daniels all of Big Spring; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry Hodnett and Lynn Hodnett and one sister, Katie Pursley.
