Jackie Crim, 52, of Garden City, Kansas, formerly of Stanton, died on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, in a Stanton nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel in Stanton with Rev. Daniel Armstrong, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Stanton, officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home. She was born on May 5, 1953, in, Stanton, Texas and married Homer Crim on January 15, 1980 in Lubbock, Texas. Jackie grew up in Stanton, graduated from Stanton High School in 1979 and attended Texas Tech University. She had lived in Garden City, Kansas for the past fifteen years and was a homemaker and a loving mother and wife. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her husband, Homer Crim of Garden City, Kansas; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Perkins of Garden City, Kansas and Steven and Andrea Perkins of The Colony, Texas; her sister, Judy Fryar of Stanton and her brother & sister-in-law, Lee and Sherry Cook of Stanton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Cook. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 2304 W.
