Jack Watters, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Hospice of Midland Inpatient Unit in Midland, Texas. He was born August 8, 1946 to John Melvin and OB Wheeler Watters in Coleman, Texas. After attending school in Coleman, he joined the United States Air Force and served his country in Viet Nam. After his discharge he married the love of his life, Reba Jo Dieterich. He was a contract welder and had worked for various companies in the Midland area having worked at Tretolite Chemical on and off for seventeen years and Patts Fabrication for the last ten years. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Max Watters. He is survived by his wife Reba Watters of Midland; sons, Joe Watters and wife Tammy of Greenwood, Lance Watters and wife Tiffany of Lubbock; his three little angels, Jodilyn Watters of Greenwood, Landen Blake and Lawson Jack of Lubbock; sister Carol Ballard and husband Wiley of Midland; two very special people, Ariel Elliott and wife Shay and Alisha Dunson and husband David; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Inspiration Center, 4629 Andrews Hwy, Midland with Rev. Jan Reed officiating. The family will receive friends at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home from 6:00 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2009. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Henderson Funeral Home, 1600 S. Concho, Coleman, Texas from 6:00 7:30 pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Coleman City Cemetery in Coleman, Texas. Pallbearers will be; Greg Garrett, Ernie Hernandez, Ariel Elliott, Allan Thompson, Jim Shaw, Phillip Seidenberger. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Don Cauthen and Glen Bohannon, Ken Patterson, Bryan Mitchell, Ken Greaves, Ronnie Greaves, Ron Overont; Billy Carleton and Wiley Ballard.
