Jack J. Ezell

Jack J. Ezell, 88, of Coahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2004, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Coahoma Cemetery with Barry Ezra, a special nephew of the deceased, officiating.He was born on August 14, 1916 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jesse C. and Emma Ezell and moved to Brownwood as a child. He married Ruth Olene Ezra on June 8, 1941. They moved to Scurry County in 1955 and he resided there until February 2003 when he moved to Coahoma. Mr. Ezell was a transport driver for Permian Corporation for 20 years. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Jo Anne Ezell of Coahoma and his grandson, John Ed, wife, Libby and daughter, Mallory Ezell of Big Spring. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years on February 15, 1999; his parents; one brother; two sisters and a granddaughter.The family extends heartfelt appreciation to special caregivers, Sara Caffey and Grace Rodriguez.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
