Dear Sandy, I was very sorry to read your dad's obituary. It has been so long since our days together in Ozona, but I have always remembered him as such a kind and gentle person. I know you and your brother will miss him so much. My husband, Tony Hall, and I were in Ruidoso and Cloudcroft with friends last week. You must enjoy living there. It was hard for us to come back to the Texas weather. Our Ozona class has had several reunions and hopefully we'll all be around to celebrate more. We would love to have you join us. Let me know if you would like to be contacted. Thinking of you, Judy

I did not know J.B., but I knew Joe his son for a while in Snyder when he was coach of the Dusters at Western Texas College. I know J.B. must have been a very good man because Joe is. This may be a bit out of place because I am talking more about Joe than his father, but Joe, I want you to know my thoughts are with you, my prayers are with you and your family. I could absolutely not believe it when I saw Toby was married. I think he was a pre-school child back when you were in Snyder. Anyway, of the many coaches I dealt with, you were always one who put the players as individuals first. They were more important than the game. I am sure you got that from your upbringing, from your father. I wish you the best. You made a difference in my life as you have in many others. My sympathies, Bill McClellan
