We will really miss Christene, she was a true SAINT She taught us so many things, everytime we talked she would always leave us with a little Tid-Bit of information. Her family were most important to her, she loved having her family all together. She will truly be missed.

Our hearts go out to Sister Horn's family. Sister Horn was one of the most compassionate women I have ever met. She was small in stature but great in heart. She will be missed.

It broke my heart to hear of Mrs. Horn's passing. She was my bus driver and friend. You never forget a person like Mrs. Horn. Being a little kid, I was never shown respect by adults like she would give me, she always asked how my day went. When I had problems, we would talk about it on the trip home. On the way to school she would give me the courage to face the mean heartless teachers and students. She was a good listener. She always did what she could to help me. Through all my years in school, I have never had any kind teachers. They were all cruel or some could care less about me. I don't even remember their names. I will never forget Mrs. Horn. She was one of the kindest people that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. As an adult working at a local store, it was always a treat when Mrs. Horn would stop by. We would talk about EVERYTHING. The goodness in her would rub off on you and would brighten your days. There is so much more to say but everyone already knows how an extremely wonderful and loved person she was. You will always be on my mind Mrs. Horn. My most sincerest condolences to her wonderful family.

Your mother, grand-mother and great-grand-mother hold a special place in the hearts of so many people! I personally, had the pleasure of knowing her and riding bus #53 for 12 years (my 3 older siblings did as well). She always had stories and words of wisdom to share! I could go on and on about her, I hold dear and precious to me all that she taught me!

Christene was such a sweet and kind lady. She drove my school bus in the early 70's. When I had to be admitted to the hospital as a little girl (something minor) Christene came with books and concern. She never forgot a child's name that she had transported on her bus. As the Curator of the Heritage Museum, Christene was always welcome. She brought the monks in every year to tour the museum. She was a wealth of information and loved her Big Spring heritage. You will be missed here on earth Christene, but happily welcomed in heaven.
