Ishmael Moore, 90, of Midland, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 in Big Spring. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 3, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Richardson of Immanuel Baptist Church in San Angelo, officiating. Ishmael was born August 3, 1922 in Searcy, AR to Bertha and Walter Moore. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Smith and husband Bill of Greenwood; son, John Moore and wife Kim of Greenwood; granddaughter, Stephanie Davis and husband Cody of Greenwood; grandsons, John Moore, Jr. and wife Natasha of Gonzales, LA, and Scott Moore of Greenwood; sisters, Bonita Dakus and Della Davis of Arkansas; and great grandson, Asher Davis of Greenwood.He was preceded in death by wife, Dorris Evelyn Moore, parents and two sisters.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Israels Greatest Need, Bridges For Peace, PO Box 410037, Melbourne, FL 32941-0037.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
