Irlita Irene Giacobbe, 70, of Midland went home to be with our Lord on January 5, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating.She was born on July 28, 1938 in Gladiola, NM to Henry Allen and Edna Irene McBride. She married Anthony Michael Giacobbe on March 22, 1953 in Amarillo. In 1974 Irlita and Anthony moved to Midland where she worked as a child care provider until her retirement in 2005.Survivors include her husband Anthony Giacobbe; two sons, Allen and his wife Darla of New Braunfels and David and his wife Becky of Midland; two daughters, Marlene Bales and her husband Craig of Midland and Evelyn West and her husband Robbie of Moriarty, NM; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leon McBride, Lonnie McBride and David Spangler; one sister, Anna Bagwell.In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to West Kentucky Baptist Church, 1507 W.
