Irene Cramer, 72, of Big Spring, died on Friday, August 22, 2008, in a Ft. Worth hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Byron Brown, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.She was born on December 23, 1935, in Jerrel, Texas and married John Cramer in 1985 in Stanton, Texas.She came to Big Spring as a young child, and graduated from Big Spring High School. A lifelong resident of Big Spring, she owned and operated Airport Gorcery for a number of years and was a Home Interior Representative for 14 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include her husband, John Cramer of Big Spring; two sons & daughters-in-law, Charles and Tamara Gross of Hesperia, California and James and Debbie Gross of Big Spring; a daughter & son-in-law, Katherine and Alan Locke of Cleburne; a step daughter, Sue Benson and her boyfriend David Finlong of San Antonio; two step sons, Mike Cramer and his wife Dora of McAllen and Allan Cramer of Beaumont; one brother, Charles Hood of Big Spring; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Lois Hood; and two brothers, Bill and Gene Hood.
