Inge Grisham, 88, of Big Spring, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home. She will lie in state from 9am-4pm, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm at the funeral home.
Inge was born December 31, 1936 in Kemberg, Germany to parents Friedrich Otto Lucke and Emma Minna Lucke. She married Charles Grisham November 20, 1955 in Frankfurt, Germany. Inge worked for 7-11 in Big Spring and Midland for more than 30 years. She loved to sew and work outside in the yard. She was also skilled in woodworking.
Inge would be the first one to rescue any stray animal and there was always dogs and cats in her home. She was known as “Mimi” to grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed and cherished by everyone she touched and encountered.
Inge is survived by her children: Connie Hazelwood (Wally), Andy Grisham (Sally), Matthew Grisham, Marcus Grisham, and Amber Sanchez (Michael); grandchildren: Stormy Thomas, Jordan Grisham, Meagan Acosta, Amanda Grisham, Chris Grisham, Hannah Sanchez, Halie Sanchez, Heidi Sanchez, and Hunter Sanchez and her greatgrandchildren: Tayten, Rowan, Landry, Luca, Aiden, Andrew, Alaia, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Grisham, one daughter Helen Jones, and her parents.
