Inez (Finney) Owen, 79, of Big Spring, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Salado Cemetery in Salado with Rev. Tommy Davis, pastor of the Nazarene Church of Belton, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.She was born on January 6, 1930, in Flatt, Texas and married J.C. Owen in April of 1979 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death.She came to Big Spring in 1967 and enjoyed working in her flower garden, working crossword puzzles and watching western movies.Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hoover and husband, James of Big Spring and Sandra Ward of Heldton, Oklahoma; two sons, Jim Harvell and wife, Faye and Jack Harvell and wife, Jo all of Sand Springs; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one sister, Fay Brown of Georgetown; a daughter-in-law, Doris Bergerson of Midland and her dialysis buddy, Bobbie McCain.She was also preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mabel Finney; two sons, Steve and David Harvell; one daughter, Brenda Geurin; four brothers, Herman Lee Finney, J.T. Finney, Joe Finney and David Finney, and one granddaughter, Jackie Nicole Harvell. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, rolyn Brooks, P.O.
