Imogene (Jean) Dean was born April 9, 1929, in Maysville, Oklahoma and attended high school, graduating in 1947. She married Wendell Dean in Maysville, Oklahoma on June 14, 1947. They moved to Hobbs, New Mexicio in 1950, with Tulsa Rig before moving to Cortez, Colorado with Flint Rig Co. Jean and Wendell also moved to Moab, Utah, Vernal, Utah, and Gillette, Wyoming, before coming home to Midland in 1987, where they remained. Imogene passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at her residence.Jean lived her life to serve God, Church, family and friends.She is survived by her husband, Wendell Dean of Midland; two sons, Randy Dean and wife Linda of Farmington, New Mexico, and Gregg Dean and wife Trina of Midland; grandchildren, Kristoffer Dean of Chicago, Josh Dean and wife Eydie of Midland, Aubrie West and husband Shawn of Phoenix, Kevin Donohue and wife Ashley of Lakewood, Colorado, Kari Thomas of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Grant Guelker and wife Tessa of Midland, and Clay Guelker of Abilene; and four great grandkids, Brooklin Dean, Owen Dean, Avery Guelker, and Logan Donohue.The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2013, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel, with Dr. John Gerlach, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be made to the Crestview Baptist Church Building Fund, 301 State Highway 250 Loop Frontage Rd Midland, TX 79703.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
