Hugh S. Clark, 80, of Big Spring passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held 10:00am Friday, August 12, 2022 at Yates Franklin Cemetery.

He was born February 7, 1942 in Connelly Springs, North Carolina to Cora White and was raised by his grandparents Lee and Novie Clark.

He joined the air force right after high school in 1960 and served until 1964. He worked for the Big Spring VA Hospital as Supervisor in the X-ray Department and retired from there.

Survivors include his wife Norma Jean Clark; daughters: Zena Bedwell and husband Paul and Deana Clark. Grandchildren include Josh Bedwell and wife Heather, Jeremy Bedwell and wife Sydne, Amber Reed and husband Chanz, and Amanda Jones and husband Ray as well as great-grandchildren Reese, Logan, Ava, Alayna, Jase, Anora, Trea, Athena, Bryson and Jayton and his sister-in-laws Hilda Henson and Mary Clark of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cora White; grandparents: Lee and Novie Clark; brothers: Joe Henson, Jake Clark, Joe Clark, Stacy Clark and Virgil Clark and sister Carrie Mourglea.
