Hermelinda Equiniones, 48, of Midland, died on Monday, June 28, 2004, at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. Thomas Kelley, pastor of Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park North. A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 7:00 pm at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.She was born on January 22, 1956, in Tlahualilo Durango, Mexico and married Domingo Equiniones on December 19, 1980 in Midland, Texas.She loved dancing and music and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Hermelinda was a fantastic cook. She had a very strong faith in God and she collected angel figurines. She was Catholic.Survivors include her husband, Domingo Equiniones of Midland; one son, Daniel Equiniones of Midland; two daughters and one son in law, Lizette Equiniones of Midland, and Jessica & Anthony Najera of Odessa, three sisters, Hortencia Olivares of Mexico, Rosalva Balderas of Phoenix, Arizona and Maria de Jesus Vega of Mexico; one brother, JoseLuis Olivares of Houston; and one granddaughter, Eilene Najera of Odessa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon & Cruz Olivarez. The family suggest memorials be made to: Hospice of Midland, P.O.
