Herbie (Herb) McCain, 63, of Colorado City, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007 in Midland. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland.Herb was born on May 7, 1943 to I.W. and Anna McCain in Stamford, Texas. He married Patricia Lowry on May 7, 1988 in Mart, Texas.Herb was a native West Texan. He graduated from Sweetwater High School. He made a career in tire sales in West Texas, making many friends over the years. He loved fishing, camping and woodworking. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Herb had a kind and loving spirit, evidenced by teaching all of his children to drive. He was a very loving and dedicated husband. He will be missed greatly.Survivors include his wife, Tricia of Colorado City; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Carol McCain of Conroe; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Dawn McCain of Allen; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Darla McCain of Quinlan; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Stacey Ream of Midland; a son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Kasey Heath of Vernon; a daughter, Jennifer Heath of Midland; a sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Bill Booth of Vacaville, California; a sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Pat Lara of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother and sister-in-law, Rocky and Judy Brooks of Abilene; one niece; four nephews; sixteen grandchildren; and one grand niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and to include: Daddy Don Brooks.
