Henry Warren Adams, 78, of Big Spring went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Joey Bacon, associate pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.Henry was born May 8, 1930 in Snyder, Oklahoma to Warren Henry Adams and Grace Hughey Adams. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1948, then worked for Coca Cola for fifteen years. He served in the National Guard for nine years. Henry later owned and operated three service stations, and presently owned Ace Wrecking for thirty-seven years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Sherry Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Fred Riggan of Burleson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Jani Adams of Midland; five grandchildren, Lesli and husband, Vaughn Badenhorst of Conway, Arkansas, Cheri Bowman and Keith Riggan of Ft. Worth, Griffin and husband, Corey Hipp of Wichita Falls, and Stephanie and husband, Duncan Hamm of Midland; six great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Green, Corbin, Luke, and Brian Badenhorst of Conway, Arkansas, Jordyn Tarter and Hayes Hamm of Midland.He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Arlis, Edgar, Garland, and Elmer Adams, three sisters, Lorema Adams, Winona Hobson, Marcella Carter, and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Ricky Mitchem, Lee Hancock, Vaughn Badenhorst, Duncan Hamm, Danny Spinks, Gary Wayne (Barney) Hise.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, c/o Carolyn Brooks, PO Box 2121, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2121.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
