Henry Neal Edwards

Henry Neal Edwards, Sr., 50, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, August 4, 2001, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 8, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on June 5, 1951 in Lubbock, Texas and married Judy Howell on November 14, 1975 in Big Spring, Texas. He was raised in Abernathy and graduated from Abernathy High School. Henry was a truck driver for many years and moved to Big Spring in 1995. He worked as a nurse at Comanche Trail Nursing Center until he became ill. He was a Baptist. He served as a Navy Seal in the United States Navy during VietNam. Survivors include his wife, Judy Edwards of Big Spring; three sons, Henry Edwards, Jr., Jason Edwards and Matt Edwards all of Big Spring; one daughter, Candice Richardson of St. Marys, Georgia; one brother, Denny Edwards of San Angelo; and one grandson, Alex Richardson of St. Marys, Georgia.
