Henry Clark Roach (Hank), 85, of Midland, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. Memorial services will be held at a later date.Henry was born February 6, 1932 to Fairel (Thomas) and William Clark Roach in Mertzon, TX. He was a Korean War veteran and hero. After serving his country for virtually the full conflict, he was reassigned back stateside at White Sands. His brother Matt Roach introduced him to this new teacher in Dexter, NM. Where upon he met Patsy Leona Orenduff, the love of his life. After meeting they had a lengthy courtship and married two weeks later. After they were married, they moved to Amarillo, Lubbock and then to San Angelo TX.Hank worked for many years with SIC, San Angelo National Bank, Pool Company and retired after working with the FDIC. Hank and Patti enjoyed travels to England with friends. They also enjoyed the Bahamas and especially attending Broadway plays in New York. They both loved water skiing, snow skiing, their kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Hank loved playing golf and taking care of his bride. When his bride passed away, he missed her every moment of every day. Hank was a good son, brother, soldier, a man, father, husband and caregiver. Hank was always known to tell it like he saw it. Hank had a great sense of humor and a passion for family and life.He is survived by son, Dusty Roach and spouse Barbie; daughter, Tudi Roach Wilson and spouse Richard Karn Wilson; grandchildren, Ross Roach and spouse Morghan, Amy Baker, Sommer Ahrens and spouse Mike, and Cooper K. Wilson; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Whiteside and spouse John; brother, Matt Roach and spouse Peggy; and many other family and friends.He was preceded in death by wife, Patti Roach; parents, William and Fairel Roach; sister, Billie Mueller and brother, Bud Roach.Hank’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Hospice Midland and Brookdale Midland.
