I was saddened when friends told me of Helene's passing. Helene was one grade below me but in a small town, everyone knew each other. Although I haven't seen Helene in many years, I know that we would have remembered all the fond memories (some not so fond) of our school days, and we would have had some good laughs. My condolences to Jack and all the family and friends she left behind. Our comfort can come knowing that someday we will be reunited with our loved ones. When I once asked my Grandmother, " why do all the good people have to die?" She replied, "Well, because God only wants the good people in heaven!" Somehow that has given me comfort all these years.
