Helen Louise Bolton, age 85, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 in Midland, Texas.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 am, Monday, January 15, 2024 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland Texas with Jerry Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Midland, Texas. Pallbearers will include Sid Hutchinson, Cameron Cox, Gene Bolton, Jr., Aaron Sanberg, Timothy Timmons, Michael Timmons, Junior Martinez and Keagan Martinez. A viewing is scheduled at the funeral home on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
Helen was born March 17, 1938 in Gatesville, Texas to George Nuwt Timmons and Liddie Lee “Hubble” Timmons. She sold real estate for Bunnie Kent Realtor, Inc. in Midland until she married Orville Eugene Bolton and moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. Together they started their own company and moved to Midland, Texas where they retired. They loved to travel. After Gene’s passing, she moved to Polo Park where she made many close friends. She was a very sociable person. She loved the staff, the residents and the activities at Polo Park. She also enjoyed beating her family in Wahoo and dominos. She will be missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter Tangie and husband Sid Hutchinson, brothers Jimmie Timmons and wife Vickie of Andrews, TX, Billy Timmons and wife Carol of Pittsburgh, TX, sister Eva Savage of Odessa, TX and Gene Bolton, Jr. of Hobbs, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her child James Author Brooks, second husband Orville Eugene Bolton and parents George and Liddie Timmons.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Midland Memorial Hospital, Covenant Medical Center and Encompass Health and Rehab for the excellent care and attention shown by the caregivers that work there. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
