Helen H. Jones, 66, of Big Spring, died on Monday, April 28, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2003, at the Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2003 at Hickory Hill Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. She was born on September 6, 1936 in Cass County, Texas and married A. C. Jones on December 29, 1959 in Mt Pleasant, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1979. Mrs. Jones came to Big Spring in 1964 from Mt. Pleasant. She had worked for Culligan and Bristow Oil and was currently working for Big Spring Independent School District. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and had kept the nursery at Hillcrest Baptist Church of several years. For many years, she was involved with the United Girls Softball Association and ran the concession stand at the Roy Anderson Complex. Helen had served as PTA president at College Heights several years ago. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Dale Sneed of Big Spring and Kim and Kurt Willems of Andrews; four grandchildren, Chase, Randi, Cole and Zayne and a grandchild due in June; two sisters, Dorothy Letsinger of Girard and Pat Belcher of Frost and two brothers, Bobby Ray Brock of Irving and Jerry Brock of Dallas. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy and Bernice. The family suggests memorials to: Trinity Baptist Church, 810 E. 11th Place, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
