Helen Dial, 90, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Monday, November 26, 2018 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collom officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.She was born January 7, 1928 in Asherville, Kansas and married Douglas Eugene Dial.Helen lived in Oklahoma City and worked as a coordination director for various health care facilities until retiring in 1999 at which time she moved to Big Spring. She loved cooking for her family.She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Kennedy and husband, Ray of Big Spring; one son, Edward A. Dial and wife, Taylora of Pomona, California; five grandchildren, Michael Richardson and wife, Irene, Lincoln Dial and wife, Carla, Wendy Garcia-Salas and husband, Miguel, Toni Hooper and husband Dave, and Stephanie Bullard and husband, Kevin; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved companion, Fluff.She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Douglas Eugene Dial, Jr.; a grandson, Kenneth Eugene Richardson; and a brother, Ernest Flynn.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Crematory.
