My Mom, my brother John and I send our condolences from Michigan and North Texas. Aunt Helen will always be remembered for her wonderful dry wit. I spoke with Uncle Vern one evening a few years ago and told him I was traveling in my bus from Dallas to California. We made arrangements to meet at the rest area outside Midland. He and your Mom came there and spent an hour or so with me before I continued on my way. She indicated that if given half a chance, your Dad would be going with me because he loves traveling so much. We had a good laugh and said goodbye. I'm grateful for that memory and many others. You may rest assured that you are in our prayers as you grieve.
