Hazeline Stoker Luck went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family in San Antonio. Hazel was born in Richfield, North Carolina and grew up in Badin, North Carolina with her family. After high school she attended Beauty school with her sister Dottie Carter in Raleigh, NC
She married William “Bill” Luck on August 28, 1951. They were married for 64 years before he passed away in 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Luck, her son Dale luck, her sister Dottie Stoker and her parents Author and Esther Stoker. She has a surviving brother Glenn Stoker of Badin, North Carolina and a sister in law, Sally Stearns of Vienna Illinois.
Bill and Hazel were a military family that traveled and lived in many places including North Carolina, Colorado, California, Georgia, Florida, Alaska, and overseas in England and Korea where they made lifelong friends.
Bill and Hazel had four children, 10 grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Their children and grandchildren are Terry Luck and his wife Terri Luck and their daughter Lauren Padgett all from Midland, Terry’s son Jason Luck and his wife Lindsey Luck and their two children, his other son Joshua Luck and his two children both from Iowa, and his daughter Audra Broadhead and her husband Wes from Nevada and their five children.
Tom Luck and his wife Jasmin Luck from Oregon have two children Bambi and her husband Mike Liggett and his son Blade Luck, all from Oregon. Dale Luck (deceased), his children are Andy and his wife Kali Luck and their two children and his daughter Alye and Dustin Pearce and their 3 children all from Midland.
Dawn Ezell has two daughters Adrianna and Ashton Ezell all from San Antonio.
Hazel has been very active in her church and community as she served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher and Acteen leader at church and a Den mother for Cub Scouts, just to mention a few.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
