Hassie Belle Anderson, 89, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Sammy Segundo, pastor of Family Faith Victory Center, officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.She was born on October 20, 1918, in Miami, Texas and married A. M. Anderson on December 9, 1934 in Tahoka, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1977.She was of the Apostolic Faith.Survivors include one son, Sonny Anderson of Big Spring; one daughter, Jean Powell of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Mary Thomas of Big Spring and Stella McBeth of Seminole; and three grandchildren. Jean & Sonny, I'm thinking of you and rembering all the good times as kids. I always thought your house was so much fun to visit! I thought it was so special that Aunt Hassie Bell made such neat doll clothes for Jean. Also the times her dog was colored either "pink or blue." Christmas was always so special at your house and Aunt Hassie Bell seemed to enjoy it more than anyone else! A special memory was that Aunt Hassie Bell gave me Jean's cowboy boots when Jean outgrew them......I was so proud! She was a fun person. Love you both, Doris
