Harvey Glenn Cross, 83, was born on December 18, 1934 in Stanton Texas to Julius and Josie Cross. He went to be with the lord after a short illness on December 9, 2018. He married Nancy Pearl Reynolds on December 24, 1953.He owned his own Roofing Company and later did weather stripping and landscaping, in which he was still active up to his death. His hobbies included fishing, camping, spending time with family and going to Church, along with being a master tinker. He was an ordained Deacon and member of the Home Line Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army.He and his wife, Nancy, were married for 59 years when she preceded him in death on March 10, 2013. He is also preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, H.T, Selwin, Charles and Vernon Cross; and four sisters, Noreen Murphy, Bennie Curfew, Margaret Powell and Mildred Carrigan.Glenn is survived by two sons, Wes Cross and wife, Carmen, of Midland, Texas, Matt Cross and wife, Iva, of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, Roper Cross of Midland, Texas, Matthew Cross and wife, Amanda, of Allen, Texas, Joshua Cross and wife, Kelly, of San Antonio, Texas, Chance Cross of Greenwood, Texas, Cody Cross of Midland Texas; and 2 great grandchildren, Oakley and Wyatt Cross of Greenwood, Texas; one sister, Rosa Lou Starnes of Lubbock, Texas; and one brother, Ronald Cross of Big Spring, Texas.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Home Line Baptist Church, 3500 Anetta, Midland, Texas 79703 in his memory.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
