Some of our warmest memories of life in West Texas revolved around the character and common sense of rare men like Mr. Henley. It was a privilege to be able to spend time with him and to call him a friend. Our prayers and best wishes go out to Puncher and Mr. Henley's entire family during your time of loss.

My Papaw, you will be sorely missed. They just don't make 'em quite like you anymore. You always had a great story to tell, a lesson in life and a trick up your sleeve. I will always cherish the summers we had together. Whether I was riding on the tractor, learning to drive ol' Blue, or seeing if those jalapeños were really as hot as you said they were, I always enjoyed our time together. I love you Papaw. May you and Nannie rest in peace together.

To Linda, my Stanton classmate and all the family take peace and comfort knowing that all who have accepted Jesus as their Personal Savior into their heart are singing NOW and Praising Jesus. What a fantastic journey we are all going on someday. To Zelda, one of my most favorite ex-sister-in-laws ever, I love you and the family always.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Henley's passing. I will never, ever forget our wild adventure he and my Dad took us all on when we went and stayed on the river where Mr. Henley use to ride and work.
