Hardana (Dana) Boyles Wilkinson was born in Ranger, Texas on September 6, 1924. She was a Rangerette at Kilgore College in the early 40’s, and a few years later met her future husband, Marcus Evarts Wilkinson, Jr, in Vivian, Louisiana. Marc and Dana had three children: Marcia Anne Hamby, Dana Lea Wilkinson, and Marcus Evarts Wilkinson III, one grandchild: John Michael Wilkinson, and one great-grandchild: Robert James Wilkinson. Dana was preceded in death by her husband, son, and her brother, Shannon Boyles. She and Marc were active golfers for many years and enjoyed traveling, fishing, and creative hobbies.
