Thank you so very much for always being the quintessential uncle. You were always so inviting and I always enjoyed visiting any time we were in Big Spring. Even though adult life takes up most all anyone's time, I often thought of you and remembered the get-togethers at the house. Thank you also for giving all of us the great company of our cousins Martha, Arturo, Ricky, Eddie and Barnaby. They all have grown to be honorable and respectful adults. They are a testament to the man you were. Vaya con Dios, Mi tio.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I frequently went into El Nopal for my son or daughter, and enjoyed sharing war stories with Mr. Urias over a cup of coffee as I waited for the food. No matter how busy he was he always had a friendly smile. I'll miss him when I go into the restaurant.

Lupe graciously allowed us to "adopt" his son Barnaby and when we went to the restaurant he always treated us like part of the family. His old world charm and wit will be greatly missed. Although we our miles away our prayers and thoughts are with our "adopted" son and the rest of his family. God Bless you all. John and Karen (Dadder and Mamasita)

I will always remember Mr. Urias. My Mom tells me that when I was a l little boy we would go to the old nopal and Mr. Urais would always tell me that if I oreded coffee and beans It would make me short like him.. I am now a teenager and when we went to eat at the New Nopal he still told me the same thing. He had a gentle heart . I will miss his jokes he always had a joke. God Bless his family Tony Solis
