Gordon Craig, 77, of Midland, TX, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2004, in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Memorial Christian Church in Midland with Terry Rothermich, officiating and Clark Ford, assisting. He was born on October 7, 1926, in Denton, Texas and married Marilyn Johnigan on May 17, 1957 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a generous man and had a wonderful sense of humor. Gordon worked for Sinclair Oil & Gas for 14 years after which he became a consulting geologist. He was a member of the Pop-Up Toastmasters Club, the West Texas Geological Society, and SEPM. He was also a member of Memorial Christian Church where he had served in various capacities including chairman of the board and as an elder. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Craig of Midland; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sandra Soria of Ft. Worth, Susan & Bryan Paddack of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; one brother, Robert Craig of Kansas City, Kansas and five nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
