Gloria Hernandez, 70, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  Viewing will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 9:00am-9:00pm with a rosary starting at 7:00pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine.  Interment will follow at Resthaven North Cemetery.

 

Gloria was born on April 23, 1951 in Stanton, Texas to Genaro Hernandez and the late Vickie Hernandez.  Gloria was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.  She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and being outdoors.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, and going to casinos.  She had a big heart and was always taking care of her family.  She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

 

Gloria is preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Hernandez, and one sister, Stella Garcia.

 

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Gwynette) Lozano, Abel (Angie) Lozano, Carlos Lozano, Manuel (Rosa) Sanchez; one daughter, Lisa (Veronica) Sanchez; and grandchildren, Valarie, Veronica, Samantha, Amanda, Abel, Alex, Jacob, Joshua, Christian, Roxanne, Jennifer, Manuel, Yaretzy, and Ethan; and 18 great grandchildren.

 

She is also survived by her father, Genaro Hernandez; three brothers, Daniel Hernandez, Paul (Erolinda) Hernandez; and Luis Victor Hernandez, and one sister; Rachel Porras.

 

Pallbearers for the service will be Abel Lozano, Jr., Alex Lozano, Manuel Sanchez Jr., Jacob Lozano, Joshua Lozano, Isaih Porras, Ethan Escamilla, and Julian Garcia.

 

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of her prayer warriors, family and countless friends.
