Glenda Joy Frantz was called home to be another Angel for God on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. She was born in Gatesville, Tx to Buddy and Estelle Roberts on July 28, 1948 becoming the seventh of what would be 11 kids in total.On February 1, 1975 Glenda married George “Pat” Patrick Frantz. Later that year in December they would welcome the first of two sons, George Patrick Frantz, Jr, then in 1978 their second son, Robert Roe Frantz would be born.Pat and Glenda spent most of their lives as longtime residents of Midland, Tx, raising their son’s and enjoying family and friends. Glenda was a secretary as a career. She worked as a Meals on Wheels secretary as the most recent until stomach cancer had taken her off work twelve years ago.Glenda was preceded in death by husband, George “Pat” Frantz, parents, Buddy and Estelle Roberts; brothers; Bobby and Kenneth Roberts; sisters, Rose Klutts, Nancy Franks, Terry Huckabee and Brenda Ribordy.Glenda is survived by her two sons, George Frantz and husband, Lynn and Robert Frantz both of San Antonio, Tx; adopted daughter, Melissa Reed of Midland, Tx; one sister, Wanda Bishop and husband Junior of Midland, Tx; three brothers, Jerry Roberts and wife, Connie of Bangs, Tx; Royce Roberts and wife, Lena; Ronnie Roberts and wife, Carol both of Talihina, Ok; as well as many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Lynn Frantz, R.J. Frantz, Bob Bishop, Travis Lawrence, Cody Ringener and Gene Hutchison. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Frantz, Robert Frantz, Tammye Huckabee, Melissa Reed and Donnie Dyke.Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Bother Mike Vestal officiating.
