Glenda Ann Sparks

Glenda Ann Sparks of Midland, Texas passed away January 22, 2024 following a brief illness. She was born December 30, 1956 in Midland, Texas to James Wesley Sparks (Jim) and Nancy Keeling Sparks.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Glenda attended Midland schools, graduating from Midland High School in 1974. She graduated from Angelo State University with a BBA in 1984.

She is survived by her brothers, James Michael Sparks (Judy) and David Alan Sparks (Carol) and was fiercely loved by her nephew, Wesley Bryan Sparks and nieces, Ashley Sparks and Haley Elizabeth Sparks (Matthew Bazeley). She had one great niece, Trinity Elliott. Glenda was a devoted dog mom to Maya and Major.

There was never a time when Glenda was not thinking of her family. She enjoyed gatherings and was especially clever in games, whipping up on those not suspecting her funny wit. Glenda was a very talented needlepoint artist. She loved birdwatching and gardening.

Glenda found something to love in every one of us, accepting all our flaws and celebrating our accomplishments. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
