Gladys Hale, 83, of Midland, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with Rev. Terry Easley, officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Midland.Gladys was born February 16, 1926, in Lomax, Texas to Cora and John Bodiford. She married L.T. Hale on February 12, 1944 in Eagle Pass, Texas. So they were married for 65 years. She loved her grandkids dearly. She enjoyed cooking and fishing.Survivors include husband, L.T. Hale of Midland; daughter, Patsy Cook and husband, Jim of Quemado, Texas; son, Bobby Hale an wife Frankie of Midland; 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gwendolyn Price of Clarksville, Tennessee and Ruth Bodiford of Midland. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eddie Bert Hale and Jimmy Ray Hale, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gifts of Hope Inc., 2101 W Wadley #24, PO Box 144, Midland, Texas 79705.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
