“Gio” as his family and friends called him, was a caring, amazing, and funny person. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. His heart was as big as the moon. He was the kind of a guy that was always there for you no matter the situation, and always willing to help even if help was not needed. He was very thoughtful and generous with his time. His dream since he was a young boy was to work for the news. He started early college at a very young age, attending Midland College and receiving his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas. After finishing UNT he got his dream job, working for CBS7 news.
Some of the things he enjoyed doing was attending Premier movies and traveling to the Dallas area to visit his friends. He was never afraid to be his own person and always made a great impression on the people he encountered throughout his life. He was a great man and will be truly missed.
