Geraldine House Yardley, 82, of Stanton, Texas, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Midland nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Stanton with Rev. David Harp, officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Gilbreath Funeral Home.Geraldine was born April 17, 1930, in Crane, Texas. She married Bobby Campbell just after World War II and he preceded her in death in 1984. She then married Jim Yardley May 30, 1987 in Stanton. She moved to Stanton in 1964 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked for many businesses including as the secretary for the Stanton Chamber of Commerce.She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Stanton.Survivors include her husband, Jim Yardley of Stanton; two sons, Kirby Corbell and wife Cindy of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Ricky Corbell and wife, Gail of San Antonio; two daughters, Marsha Campbell McLain and husband, James of Springhill, Tennessee, and Connie Campbell Hooker and husband, Glen of Ft. Worth; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Jimmy House of San Angelo. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Bessie Viola (Cain) House; and two brothers, Doyle House and Robert House.Arrangements under the direction of Gilbreath Funeral Home of Stanton.
