Geraldine Hill, 61, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2010 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the funeral home.She was born on November 2, 1949, in Bertram, Texas and married William Hill on April 23, 1969 in Sweetwater, Texas.She had been a resident of Big Spring since 1973 and had worked as a LVN for 30 years at Hall-Bennett Hospital and Scenic Mountain Medical Center. She loved listening to music and taking care of her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband, William Hill of Big Spring; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Clifton Harris of Odessa and Becky and Roger Powell of Big Spring; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Sandra Hill of Portland; one brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Martha Broadway of Round Rock; one sister and brother-in-law, Faye and James Johns of Liberty Hill; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son, Asa Wayne Powell on April 10, 2007; one sister, Barbara Moody; and one brother, Melvin Ray Broadway.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
