Geraldine H. King, 82, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Hospice House in Odessa, Texas. A graveside service has been scheduled for 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Father David Mossbarger officiating.She was born on December 28, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Agnes Lubunyz Peterman. While living in Los Angeles, California, she met the true love of her life, Dale Gibson King. The two were married on June 30, 1950. She attended Elmhurst College near Chicago, Illinois and received the required training and certification to become an X-ray Technician. She resided in southern California and Oregon before moving to the Midland/Odessa area. While in Oregon she and Dale raised Golden American Saddlebred horses. She was an active member of the Molalla Moose Lodge No. 1277 in Molalla, Oregon.Geraldine is survived by a daughter, Leanna Dalager and husband Dan of Midland, Texas; son, Paul King and wife Marsha of Tillamook, Oregon; grandchildren, Daniel Dalager of Midland, Texas and Heather Deerwester of Stayton, Oregon and Sean Waldo of Eugene, Oregon; great-grandchildren, Robin Deerwester, Bailey Deerwester and Peyton Deerwester all of Oregon.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Hospice House, 903 N.
