I knew Gerald when he, Annie, Rita and James lived in Kermit and went to Grace Temple. I know you kids were small. My sister, Elaine Parks, told me about your dad's death. I am so sorry to hear of it. I didn't know he had alheimers either. I got reacquainted with him when he was married to Laurie. His smile was contagious and I loved being around him. He loved her girls like his own and was always joking around and was a joy to be with. I am so sorry for your loss. Pam, I didn't know you but you must be a great lady to have been married to Gerald. May you all find comfort in knowing he is with the Lord. Hang on to your memories of him because nobody can take them from you. May God Bless and Comfort you all.

Pam, Rita, and James I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Gerald was a very special man and he will always have a special place in my heart. The last time I spoke with him, just before he left he told me he was proud of me. I was instantly tranformed into that 18 year old boy he took a chance on all those years ago.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Pam know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Brittany has often said she wished we had met Gerald before his disease. From what I just read, I truly know that he was very much the man that he was described as being. We will miss him. Sending our love
